Sweet Pea is part of an orphan group.  There are 3 sets of twins in this litter.  Tippy and Tyler, and Eli and Boomer are the boys and Blossom and Sweet Pea are the girls.  They had a very rough beginning.  Mom was hit by a car and killed. These guys were under a deck for three days before they were rescued. Deck boards were pulled up and there was a lot of searching before their cries were answered. They were starving and dehydrated, but otherwise uninjured.  They are now a very happy group. They love people and are very social and laid back.  They live with other cats and a dog and nothing seems to bother any of them. Sweet Pea is the tiniest of the pack but is a total love bug. Since they are babies, they need to be adopted in pairs or go into a home where there is another cat. They were born June 15 and are ready to go to their forever homes.

Murphy Brown was living outside. When she came to Second Chance, she was put into the only foster home that was available... a home with 3 other foster boys and 3 adult resident male cats. She fends well for herself even though she is on the petite side.  She is very playful and gets along well with everyone. She is also very sweet and loves being in her foster moms arms!!!  She has been given a 5/18/10 birthday.

Handsome Robbie was outside and very hungry when he found some very caring previous "Second Chance Adopters".  They brought him in and fed the little guy and called us for help.  We took him in to be tested and given his shots and he warmed up to his new foster mom immediately!  He is extremely playful and loving and gets along with all the other cats/kittens in his foster home. His bunny like fur and warm personality makes him so enjoyable to hold and cuddle and he loves every moment he is in your arms!   The tip of his tail was suppose to be white, but it got an extra little dollup of black at the end!  He was given a 2/30/10 birthday.

He is extremely sweet. He seeks out attention and affectionate and loves to talk. He is a very curious young man. He is up to date on shots, is litter box trained and is nuetered.

Ernie lives in his foster home with Murphy Brown, Robbie and Bogie. Ernie needs someone who will give him time to adjust. He is still very frightened but once he snuggles down into your lap, he purrs like an engine. He really wants to be loved and to have someone to love but he came from the outside and hasn't quite figured out how to respond yet!

Since Ernie is just a baby, he needs another cat or kitten to be buddies with.

Maya is a beautiful torti with a story that needs a "forever and ever" ending. She was born in a large outdoor colony and rescued when she was 6 weeks old. She had a severe eye infection at the time which led to lots of medicating and ultimately surgery on her cornea. She was a model patient and always very tolerant of medicating. Her eye has healed beautifully without her losing any vision or needing any further medical intervention. In her foster home, she is the "mother hen" to any kittens that come in even though she has never had any of her own. She loves to sit next to you on the couch and is a chatterbox around the house. Her foster mom refers to her as a "gentle soul" who just wants a place to nestle and be loved. Maya would do well in almost any situation except where there are small children. She is accustomed to other adult cats and dogs. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. All she needs is someone to say "let's go home."

Bode is about 2 years old. Bode was found outside one of our foster's home. This young male was ready to come inside. He obviously was someone's pet that was lost or abandoned. What a smart boy as he chose the right yard to hang out in to be rescued. It is getting cold outside and now he is safe and warm. Bode had a strange wound on his mouth as though it had been cut or torn. He has healed nicely. Unfortunately, Bode has tested positive for FIV -Feline Aids. He is a lovable boy that deserves a home that will take care of him forever. He enjoys being petted and will sit peacefully on your lap. He gets along with other cats. As you can see in the photo, he is is quite content. He is happy. He is loved.
